About Craig
I am a PMP-certified project leader based in Northwest Ohio, exploring how technology can help people and organizations move forward.
My interests sit at the intersection of project leadership, digital transformation, AI, automation, data, robotics, process improvement, and emerging technology. I am particularly interested in what happens after the excitement of a new idea: defining the real need, making the idea testable, understanding the risks, involving the people affected, and learning from evidence.
How I approach the work
I tend to approach technology as a project leader rather than as a futurist predicting what must happen next.
I want to know what problem we are solving, who experiences it, what success would look like, what assumptions we are making, what could go wrong, and what we can learn from a practical experiment.
That is also how I approach this website. CraigMeyer.org is a place to think in public, build things, document what I learn, and revise my conclusions when better evidence appears.
Background
I am a Project Management Professional (PMP) with experience leading projects, coordinating stakeholders, improving processes, and translating ideas into structured work.
My professional interests increasingly include the practical adoption of AI, automation, data tools, digital transformation, and other technologies that can improve how people work and receive services.
Beyond the work
Books, science fiction, fantasy, comics, and technology have long encouraged me to imagine possibilities beyond the way things currently work.
That curiosity is part of what draws me toward emerging technology—but I am most interested when imagination can be connected to practical human value.
I also enjoy humor, which has resulted in a deliberately separate creative side project called The Improbable Project Archives.
It is fictional project-management satire, not professional history.
